POSITION SUMMARY
This position has the ability to work remote from your home office and requires up to 80% travel.
The General Trainer (GT) is responsible to train the end user on the Epic ConnectCare Hospital Billing Application. The training will be based in the local market. The training will be conducted in the classroom as well as in the practice. The end users will be both clinical and non clinical. The incumbent will be assigned application(s) included in the application suite. The incumbent is responsible for achieving an in-depth understanding of the software, policies and procedures, and workflows. The GT is a member of the Enterprise and/or local system project team and participates in discussions regarding building, testing, and maintaining the training environment, as well as the development and maintenance of training materials for the training program. The GT will support the Enterprise team in technological competency assessments across BSHSI. In addition to training end-users within the facility, the GT will also train additional trainers within the organization, maintain policy/procedure documentation, provide training for new hires, and coordinate training for new software releases and updates.
The GT will ensure alignment of all application training activities with cultural and clinical transformation objectives. The incumbent will identify and manage resistance to change as related to their respective application(s) of responsibility.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The incumbent must be flexible, highly collaborative and consistently work to fill gaps and avoid overlaps in local system activities. A key requirement for the incumbent is to continuously listen, react and suggest ways to complement or assist the work of others. The ideal manifestation of the role is when all CIS involved parties seek out the incumbent as an expert resource and thought partner, which will ensure that the work is fluid and relevant to current issues.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Candidates who do not meet this requirement may be considered if they have achieved applicable certifications and/or requisite work experience in training.
• Epic experience
• Experience developing and conducting training in adult education environment
• Stand-up ADULT classroom training
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems
Preferred Qualifications
• Epic certification in the application being represented
• Experience in training in an Epic Enterprise implementation environment
• Experience in Epic installations
• Experience with Athena
• Experience with Hospital or Professional Billing highly desired
